The Tonys

On Sunday morning at 9am I had the great pleasure of attending this year's Tony awards dress rehearsal with my good friend David Lashay. We had VIP tickets but still had to go through security. I had my 2007 Wicked bag on and when the security guard checked my bag he said, "I'm sorry but we don't allow food in the theater." To which I replied, "Come on, how much damage can one gay with a banana do in here?"  "Go ahead," he said.  The beauty of living in New York!

American Blend Pilot

Yesterday I shot the pilot for my new talk show American Blend alongside my beautiful co-host Tiffany Haas. From Director Adam Fitzgerald to DP Blake Drummond and our amazing crew of PAs
everyone worked hard to produce a killer pilot. We had a blast interviewing Broadway and television star Megan Hilty and her husband Brain Gallagher. We asked fun questions and a few deeper ones to explore life in America today.  To follow our journey and watch our pilot "Like" us on Facebook, "Follow" us on Twitter and check out our website!

TEACH OUR YOUTH TODAY HOW TO RUN THE WORLD TOMORROW

Get involved in your local schools by starting a GSA and bring bullying prevention programs into the classroom. We owe it to our youth and our society to teach them how they should treat others. What we do with them now WILL affect the world in ten years. If we teach young men especially, how to honor and respect themselves and others, just think how that could change Wall Street or Washington when some of those boys grow up and choose the financial market or government as a career.  As Americans we need to take a long hard look at our entitlement and what we pass onto our youth.  It not only affects our country, but the world.  It's all connected!
